Product Description
Our galvanized Eye & Eye type open body Turnbuckles are designed with forged elongated eye ends are designed to maximize ease of attachment and minimize stress on the eye.
The turnbuckles are intended to provide an adjustable rigging connection which applies tension between two components (usually wire ropes and suspension points).
Our turnbuckles comply with the requirements of ASTM F1145-92. They are hot dip galvanized for durability and weather resistance. Recommended for straight or in-line pull only.
Turnbuckles may be used on its own or in conjunction with other turnbuckles to increase length in the assembly. They can be used with a length of rope, cable, or other rigging assembly as a connection point to adjust slack and tension within the line. Can be used for something as simple as a fence or as complicated as a suspension bridge. Commonly used in some industries like construction, aviation, maritime transport, sports and entertainment.
Main features:
- TURNBUCKLES RECOMMENDED FOR STRAIGHT OR IN-LINE PULL ONLY.
- Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASTM F1145-92.
- End fittings are Quenched and Tempered or Normalized, bodies heat treated by normalizing.
