Product Description
Our galvanized Jaw & Jaw type open body Turnbuckles are common rigging equipments. The forged jaw ends are fitted with nuts & bolts.
They are intended to provide an adjustable rigging connection which applies tension between two components (usually wire ropes and suspension points). The open barrel design gives a clear indication of thread extension whilst both the jaw ends provide safe connection points to ensure the rigging is securely fastened.
Our turnbuckles comply with the requirements of ASTM F1145-92. They are hot dip galvanized for durability and weather resistance. Recommended for straight or in-line pull only.
Turnbuckles may be used on its own or in conjunction with other turnbuckles to increase length in the assembly. They can be used with a length of rope, cable, or other rigging assembly as a connection point to adjust slack and tension within the line. Can be used for something as simple as a fence or as complicated as a suspension bridge. Commonly used in some industries like construction, aviation, maritime transport, sports and entertainment.
Main features:
- TURNBUCKLES RECOMMENDED FOR STRAIGHT OR IN-LINE PULL ONLY.
- Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASTM F1145-92.
- End fittings are Quenched and Tempered or Normalized, bodies heat treated by normalizing.
- Hot Dip galvanized steel.
- Hot Dip galvanized steel.
- Lock Nuts available for all sizes.
- Proof load is 2.5 times of WLL, and Breaking load is 5 times of WLL.
- Proof load is 2.5 times of WLL, and Breaking load is 5 times of WLL.
