Product Description
Our Standard Thimbles are galvanized thimbles according to EN 13411-1 for making a 'hard' eye with wire rope, it creates a loop at wire rope ends.
The thimbles provide a means for connecting wire rope to attachments. They are good for light duty rigging applications and ideally suited for indoor or low-corrosive environments.
Important features:
- Recommended used for wire ropes sized from 5/16" to 2-3/4".
- Zinc plated.- To assemble, place thimble into loop end, insert both ends of wire into clip saddle and tighten nuts until secure.
- Do not use to hang loads, lift loads, support weight of persons or objects, and do not use on athletic or playground equipment.
